FAMILY DAY 2019

A Day Well Spent with a Family of friends. 

Growing up from a broken family I can say that there is not much story. In fact, every person has there own different experiences of this, parents divorced, physical abuse practices, or even deceased parents, we all share a similar pull from gravity that feels like an anchor weighing down our hearts in plenty of ways. Most of the time, this hollow feeling haunts us in our older years. 

Family Day is the time of you and your family to enjoy and catch up on things. A time where you can bring your family to school to participate on the programs and games held on that day.

     Asian College of Technology celebrated family day on January 27, 2019. The theme for this year’s family day is “Family: United in Love”. Since, my mother is working abroad and my father is busy with his work, my grandmother, grandfather and aunties busy with their itineraries during that day. I brought my cousin and my friends to school. This year, I am happy because I was able to find someone who could attend for me. Of course, my uncle Dom was there but, wasn’t able to join the first picture.

      During the presentations, Kuya Ken was impressed because of all the adorable children who perfomed on the quadrangle. My cousin, ate Cherry however, was reminiscing all her old highschool memories, because she was a product of ACT. We all enjoyed the level presentations as you can see on our faces. How our smiles are bright and you can really see how happy I am to have them on that day. My uncle however still wasn’t able to join because he was busy catching up with his old classmates.

The awaited time and meal of the day came, Dinner. My family was famished. I on the other hand, was exhausted of my itenirary. In this picture, you can now see my uncle who appeared when we were not looking for him. He was able able to join and at the same time catch up with my cousin. It was a fun and a productive day to me because I appreciate the time and effort of my cousin and my friends to be there, to be a part of my life.

In my opinion, family day is, I think not just for the family but also to appreciate the people who has been there for you and how you consider them as family because I am a product of a broken family yet, I am still greatful of the people who decided to stay and be a part of my life. They will always have a place in my heart.

PARDO NIGHT(Circle of Life) 

This happened during September 17, 2016 at Pardo church. The theme was "Circle of Life". There were many breakthrough performances from the asianistas, some performances even gave me goosebumps. ACT truly brings out the best in you.

Standing next to me are my favorite performers Grytel Suarez(left) and Nikki Patalinghug(right). They were really good and they executed the steps perfectly.

Ang Pinagmulan

  

           

                           

Noong unang panahon ito ang pang araw-araw na kasuotan. Ito ang naging tatak ng ating pinagmulan bilang isang tunay na Filipino. Ang Filipiniana ay isang tradition na damit pambabae sa buong rehiyon ng Pilipinas. Hugis ito ng ating anyo na binigyang buhay hanggang sa ngayon. Naging isang simbolo ng konserbatibong karater na bumuo ng mabuti sa katawan at pagkatao ng isang dalaga. 

Ito ang aking mga kaibigan at ito rin ang mga halimbawa ng kasuotan noon.

                                   The creative adult is the child who survived. I am but a child and a child I shall be. I want to become who I want to be. What I want to do, I will do, but I feel like a bird in a cage. I wanna spread my wings and discover new things, but my parents are preventing me from doing it. 

                                 In my life, all I wanna do is dance and discover new things but my parents always want me to study and be at the top, but I can't because I'm tired. I will study but I also wanna enjoy life while I'm young. I'm gonna manage my time. Yes, I'm 14 and I believe in the quote "You're never to old to be young". I promise to achieve my goals and enjoy life. My parents are restraining me from spreading my wings. Life is short and you only live once. I'm not gonna let them hold the pen while I writing the story of my life. I wanna do what I love. I know there is no such thing as a perfect parent but I'm happy because they're real. I put up a shield preparing for the worst. I know that no matter how much someone may love you they can leave so I realized that time is precious, I love my parents and they're apart of our life so we will just enjoy it with them.  

                                       Life is a matter of smiles in each moment spent with your family. We fall down, struggle, and cry at times but we all desire happiness. That's how we all want to be treated.
